Director of outreach

As the Director of Outreach, you will lead the charge in fostering relationships with local schools, organizations, and businesses to advance our mission of environmental justice. You will develop and implement outreach strategies that engage community members and promote our youth leadership program, Soil Soldiers.
Ideal candidates should have experience in community engagement, excellent communication skills, and a passion for environmental justice.
tree program lead
$15 per HR
5-10 HR per week
On-site in Nashville, TN​
The Tree Program Lead will play a key role in executing our urban reforestation efforts by engaging the community in tree planting, maintenance, and care activities. This role will involve close collaboration with volunteers, schools, and community organizations throughout our site plantings to ensure the successful implementation of program deliverables.
This role is perfect for someone who is available to work during our student field trips, some weekends and community events.
tree program coordinator

As our Grant Manager, you will play a crucial role in securing funding for our initiatives, specifically for the Soil Soldiers program and other environmental justice projects. You will be responsible for researching grant opportunities, writing proposals, and managing reporting requirements.
Candidates should have grant writing experience, strong organizational skills, and a dedication to environmental justice.

As a board member, you will play a vital role in shaping the direction of our organization, helping to guide our mission and ensure our programs have a lasting impact in the communities we serve. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise or experience in one or more of the following areas: sustainability, urban forestry, eco-agriculture, public speaking, workforce development, and grass roots advocacy.
